Rosemary Kay is an acrylic and mixed-media artist living in Grande Prairie, Alberta. As a child, a visit to an Emily Carr exhibit was a defining moment; here was evidence that paint could be used to express not just reality, but spirituality, emotion, and reverence for the natural world. This insight has been an inspiration to her creative process.
Rosemary’s paintings often reveal a fascination with how animals, humans, and technology coexist. These paintings have recently been exhibited at the Beaverlodge Art & Cultural Centre and the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie (AGGP).
