Collection: Iris Tissington

I am a local self-taught artist and have been painting for about 5 years. My husband and I live on an acreage just outside of Grande Prairie where we have raised our family and enjoy spending time there with our children and grandchildren.  I have always had an interest in art but am now able to spend more time learning and exploring different mediums.

I have painted in watercolor and acrylic and enjoy realism.  Joining the Guild has given me a platform to share my work as well as receive feedback from other artists. It’s a wonderful resource for learning and everyone is very supportive of one another's craft.
